WHAT WE ARE
The Failte Centre, conveniently situated on Bayhead in Stornoway, comes with its own off-street parking, The two main Function rooms and Kitchen are available for morning, afternoon, evening or all day sessions.

The Centre has been substantially revamped and is a pleasant, warm and flexible space for a multitude of uses.

It is home to many local clubs who find the amenities eminently useful
WHO WE ARE
We are an organisation of volunteers who have clubbed together to provide a central space in order to give other charities the opportunity to use the excellent facilities which the Failte Centre can provide.
​
We have a variety of offices, meeting rooms and a well used kitchen. The premises has disabled access and WiFi is available throughout.
​
We can also provide screening and audio equipment.
WHO WE WERE
The Retirement Centre, was opened in the early seventies to aid the welfare of the older residents of Stornoway. The very first meeting to consider building the Centre was held in the Masonic Lodge on Kenneth Street in1953 with Douglas Kesting in the chair. With a veritable flurry of fundraising, the new building was opened in 1972.
